hey Anshul...
Good post... :)

I dont exactly agree with you that education is the only way...
See, you must have heard abt that old saying " you can bring the horse to the water hole, but you cant make it drink water thats available "

Thats the problem we as a nation are facing....

There are enough government schools in india that provide education to children... the mid day meals and all...
The thing is its not been used to its fullest.
I do agree that that this system needs more imporvement but then how can we be sure that it will work.

We have to promote the missing feeling of nationalism among all the citizens....

Thats the main problem...

Thats the reason why the rich get irritated when they have to pay more taxes...
thats the reason corruption exists...
the problem is we do have money but not well distributed and in the wrong hands......

I feel this recession time is the best for us to come out of this 3rd world image...
and that will be possible when each one of us has that lost feeling of nationalism..

Seems like a dream...but thats the only solution that will make other tools successful.

Cheers

More Orangee

hey Anshul…
Good post…

I dont exactly agree with you that education is the only way…
See, you must have heard abt that old saying " you can bring the horse to the water hole, but you cant make it drink water thats available "

Thats the problem we as a nation are facing….

There are enough government schools in india that provide education to children… the mid day meals and all…
The thing is its not been used to its fullest.
I do agree that that this system needs more imporvement but then how can we be sure that it will work.

We have to promote the missing feeling of nationalism among all the citizens….

Thats the main problem…

Thats the reason why the rich get irritated when they have to pay more taxes…
thats the reason corruption exists…
the problem is we do have money but not well distributed and in the wrong hands……

I feel this recession time is the best for us to come out of this 3rd world image…
and that will be possible when each one of us has that lost feeling of nationalism..

Seems like a dream…but thats the only solution that will make other tools successful.

Cheers

I completely agree with Apurva - brilliant article. An eye opener.

One point I'd like to add would be financing. Their primary concern is money too. Their families must be paid something monthly for sending their children to school.

Great work once again!

Hey Apurva,

Thanks for the comment. It was a hard task to get the guys working at the site to talk to you. Their employer also got angry when he came to know that I was doing such stuff. :P

Cheers,
Anshul

hmm..
firstly, what a brilliant article Anshul.
I agree 110% percent. Cliche or not, it is the answer. Education. What more? It's the solution to everything, if I may say so. Once you have a wider view, what can stop you from making your own opportunities?

Thanks for making it so open. I really appreciate your commendable views.
