“When we are debating an issue, loyalty means giving me your honest opinion, whether you think I’ll like it or not. Disagreement, at this stage, stimulates me. But once a decision has been made, the debate ends. From that point on, loyalty means executing the decision as if it were your own.” -Colin Powell
Be it a leader in the political field or the corporate field, the one who is a good debater is the one who leads. Talk about Obama or Gandhi, the secret to their success were their words followed by actions. This is what makes excellence in debating of utmost importance today.
The Debating Society of Shri Ram College of Commerce presents before you “The 5thErnst and Young SRCC Debating Festival 2010”, four hectic days of hardcore debating.
With Ernst and Young as Platinum Sponsors, SRDF is the only debating festival which conducts four forms of debating under one umbrella.
