Test Cricket is driving Twitter insane! The latest star on the block, Du Plessis, was the top trend of the day owing to his phenomenal performance which saved South Africa. Here are a few Twitter reactions:

@CLK_23– “Great debut for Du Plessis as he saves south africa from defeat !”

@karrauday– “It’s first time since 1921 that Australia n South Africa has drawn 2 consecutive test matches in a series.Kudos to Du Plessis and co.”

@MyNameIsMorris– “When I grow up I’m going to be Faf du Plessis. Incredible debut, better than anyT20 innings.”

After cricket, the next big thing in India is cinema. No doubt then that ‘Life of Pi’ is getting more attention by the day. Have a look:

Ewan McGregor– “I saw ‘The Life of Pi’ last night. It’s absolutely wonderful. I want to see it again and again.”

Sanjay Manjarekar– “Just saw Life of Pi – it was a real challenging book & story to make a movie off..i think the movie did justice to The book”

@kelkulus– “Life of Pi — the good news: it’s not about math. The bad news: it’s not about pie.”

After DMK notified Lok Sabha to hold a discussion on 2G Scam, the discussion ended in precisely 12 minutes. Now, Tweeple sure do know how to make things interesting for us. Here’s how spicy the news turned:

@Joydas– “Once Upon a Time we had Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha! Now we have LOL Sabha and ROFL Sabha”

@indiantweeter“Lok Sabha is trending but not working , it is the twitter of real world”

@abishmathew– “Lok Sabha speaker can be replaced with a recording machine with two audio files. 1) Beth Jaiye 2) Session Adjourned”

@lindsaypereira– “Lok Sabha was adjourned after 12 minutes. In other words, all they spent our taxes on today was to discuss what was being served for lunch.”
