The Battle Of The Phones: The Nokia Lumia 920 vs The Samsung Galazy Note 2 And The HTC OneX+

By Komal Rajput:

With the IT market stocked with a variety of phones that are to be launched this November, savvy users are desperately awaiting the new Nokia Lumia 920. The Nokia Lumia 920 has a 4.5 inches large LCD display with a mammoth 332 PPI response which can recognize gloves and fingernails. It runs on the latest operating system, the Windows Phone 8. It has great features like Nokia maps and other notable apps and has 32GB storage capacity. The Nokia Lumia 920 has a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM. It has 8.7MP camera and dual LED flash which helps in taking better pictures in low light. It also has 1.3MP front camera and has a 2,000mAh battery.

The Nokia Lumia 920 has its competitors in the HTC One X+ and Samsung Galaxy Note 2 with slightly bigger displays. The Galaxy Note 2 has the size, the HTC One X+ has great visibility in direct sunlight. These phones are their company’s flagships. They run the latest OS —the HTC One X+ and the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has Jelly Bean and lots of S pen features. The best bits here, though, are the little things like the multi-windows and the revamped screen rotation. The HTC One X+ has a 32GB and a 64GB storage version whereas Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has 64GB as well as an SD slot which allows for another 64GB, thus bringing it up to 128GB. The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is powerful with a 1.6GHz quad-core chip and 2GB of RAM. On the other hand, the HTC One X+ has a 1.7GHz quad-core with 1GB of RAM. The HTC One X+ and the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 have 8MP rear cameras with autofocus and LED flash. It seems that Nokia Pure View does win out and so does the Lumia here.

The HTC One X+ has 1.6MP and the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has 1.9MP front cameras. The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has done well so far, but it is a loser in this case. The Nokia Lumia 920 and the HTC One X+ are gorgeous and have great materials. It of course comes down to one’s preference but the winner for me is the Lumia 920. Stamina is important for smart phones. All three phones have big batteries that will last all day with moderate use on a single charge. The HTC One X+ has 2,100mAh and the Note 2 has a massive 3,100mAh battery thanks to the extra space it has. No contest there.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 wins more categories than its rivals, with the Nokia Lumia 920 coming second followed by the HTC One X+ which scored nothing.
