Happy Children’s Day TweetPals! The unique Indian tradition of celebrating Jawaharlal Nehru’s birth date as a day dedicated to children-the future of the nation, kept people of all ages busy. While many are offended by being referred to as “children”, Twitter remained abuzz with celeb tweets on the occasion:
Suhel Seth– “Happy Children’s Day…pity Parliament is not in session hence the children will be quieter and not throwing stuff at each other…”
Ayushmann Khurrana– “”Main bhi toh kid hee hoon” ~ Happy Children’s day!”

Ram Gopal Verma– “I wonder who loved children more between Jawaharlal Nehru and Michael Jackson”

Myanmar’s opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi is on a five day visit to India and on her first day, i.e. on 14/11/12 she met top Indian leaders and delivered a speech remembering Jawaharlal Nehru. The Iron Lady sparked a lot of interest on Twitter:
