Around 20 women who were former bootleggers of illegal alcohol in Karauli, Rajasthan had attended vocational training organized by the government in order to reform and lead a better life. They were trained under the Navjeevan Yojna scheme which also promises the women a grant of Rs. 3000/- so they could set up small businesses. This grant had failed to arrive and the women were considering a return to the bootlegging life when this amazing woman took matters to her hand and fought for her sisters till they got their due.
