DEBATE: It Is Wrong To Install Mobile Phone Jammers and Decoders in Colleges across Maharashtra

Posted on July 13, 2013 in Specials

Maharashtra State’s higher and technical education department proposed to install mobile phone jammers and decoders in colleges across Maharashtra to in order stop cyber crimes committed by using mobile phone cameras. Do you think the proposal will affect students as using a cell phone is an integral mode of communication with families for students?

Do you think the Maharashtra state should not ban communication in Universities? Many agree that the use of cell phones by students may be banned during classes but installing jammers can be a major problem in case of emergencies.

Or do you have reasons to believe otherwise? Have your say!
