Life is no bed of roses. There are compromises to be made, and tasks to be done even if it’s not what you had planned. But hating your job can put you under undue pressure and make your work environment miserable, often not just for you, but also for your co-workers.
There are things you could do to make the job seem a little more bearable, to walk into that office with a smile each morning and try to make life a lot easier for your own self. People should try to find their flow state, as even if they hate their job, they probably have found some tasks in that job that help them to lose track of time, and in turn, help it pass faster. Changing their mindset will help people if they are stuck at their job and can’t move on to another one. They should thus simply try to make the most of the situation on hand.
People should also stop complaining and start doing something. They should find something that keeps them constructively occupied. This is any day better than spending their time complaining. You should choose to accept it or change it, but should not complain.
One should also try and seek pleasure out of one’s free time. You could find new hobbies or re-engage in ones that you used to love, and put some of your energy there rather than into thinking about your work. A pleasant time after office hours will probably help you get over your dislike for the job. It is always advised that people take up more work not less, as it has the ability to make them happier. Distraction, of any kind, makes things lighter and easier. And dislike finds itself getting quite diluted.
