On 24th November, 2013, the Delhi Queer Pride, and as they put it: “We invite members and supporters of the queer community – All of You, your friends, families – to celebrate our diversity and stand in solidarity with all those who face persecution and violence because of their gender or sexual identity this Sunday, 24th November.
Given that we are on the cusp of the Supreme Court’s judgement on Article 377 of the IPC, this year, Delhi Queer Pride’s sixth year, is the time to come out on the streets, show your hope, show your pride! Your presence is your support — so see you all there!
Come to the intersection of Barakhamba Road and Tolstoy Marg, at 3 pm, and let’s paint Delhi in rainbow colours as we march to Jantar Mantar.”
