14 Delhi Youth Tell Narendra Modi About Their Expectations From The New Government

The stage is set and the new government has taken the reins from the UPA II and people expect some real changes from the Modi administration which caught the imagination of voters.

Different classes and demographics of the electorate came together and delivered a strong mandate to the Bhartiya Janata Party to steer the country away from communal politics and regional power centers, to a structured governance that focuses on delivering and not just planning. Each quarter of the population hence expects different things from their new government.

The youngsters of the country form the biggest demographic and expect a lot of diverse things from PM Modi who promised them jobs, education and development of infrastructure among other things.

The video below asks youth from Delhi about what the new government should do for them and some interesting insights came out. While some expect the government to focus on development and provide opportunities for the young generation who graduates every year and enters the job market while others want the government to focus on minority rights. Women want safer cities to live in and they expect the new government to work towards that.
