A Hindu And A Muslim Were Getting Communal On Facebook, What This RJ Did With Them Is Inspiring

Social media is a revolutionary new way of communicating and discussing ideas with people from all over the world, it has facilitated many crucial conversations and influenced public opinion. From Arab spring to various movements in our own country, we have seen what power this medium holds. However, like any other medium of communication, it is only as good as the intent with which we use it.

At a time when we are witnessing renewed communal offensive and the ruling elite’s attempt to stoke communal fire for electoral gains, we need to be very careful about the conversations we engage in and understand the intent behind the controversies manufactured everyday by the hired lackeys of the communal hatemongers. We need to be critical of everything and identify the truth from propaganda. This is one such inspiring initiative where RJ Naved from Radio Mirchi facilitates direct conversation between two such people who were influenced by communal propaganda, the reaction of both these people when they confront one another speaks volumes about the pre-election communal propaganda being spread for vested interests and how innocent people are getting swayed by it.
