Youth Ki Awaaz recently organized ‘CONVERGE’ – a series of talks ‘for those who give a damn’, on a diverse range of subjects from politics and society to entrepreneurship and writing. Apar Gupta, a litigator, spoke at the event about how people traverse the lines of free speech in India. Addressing issues that are central to our democracy and those that go against it, Apar spoke about how India frames its laws around censorship and the line between societally “acceptable” and “unacceptable” bans.
