This Man Is Apologising To The Future Generations, And The Reason Should Worry Us All

By Sanskriti Pandey:

We must globally warm our hearts and change the climate of our souls, and realise that we are not apart from nature, we a part of nature. To betray nature is to betray us, to save nature is to save us. Because whatever we’re fighting for – racism or poverty, feminism, gay rights or any type of equality, it won’t matter in the least. Because if we don’t all work together to save the environment, we will be equally extinct.

As the Earth slips into dangerous environmental phases, ‘irreversibility‘ looms large upon us. 7.2 billion of us humans are perpetrators of climate change, biodiversity extinction and chemical pollution, to name a few of the foolhardy contributions made and being made to a withering planet. In times when the environment needs our vigilant and urgent attention and nations need to unite in the name of survival, a man raps and rings home words that cannot be any truer, that we will eventually realise that he cannot eat money.
