Recently, we have all been mulling over one important question – what is Net Neutrality, and why should you care? After some very extensive and urgent social media activism, over nine lakh emails are now in the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India’s inbox, appealing for a free and fair internet. From savetheinternet.in, netneutrality.in, and All India Bakchod’s simple and effective video, to posters, graphics and articles that explained Airtel Zero’s splitting of the internet and internet.org’s claim towards ‘free internet for all’ would affect internet behaviour in India – #NetNeutrality has become a movement in a short span of time. Here is another crucial reason why we are demanding Net Neutrality – Startups.
