Horrifying CCTV footage has emerged of the moment that the 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit Nepal. The destruction has killed at least 7000 people so far. In this footage from Nepal, people are seen going about their business as usual, when the ground begins to shake violently and they slowly realise, amid confusion, that a quake has hit them. Then, terrifyingly, a temple entrance crashes down on to the road covering the entire area in rubble and dust, injuring several people who couldn’t be fast enough. As the air clears a little, people and street dogs are seen running amok, and some help the ones stuck in the rubble. This is among the many terrifying videos that have surfaced post the disaster.
