Grab your handkerchiefs folks, this is going to be an emotional one.
The US Supreme Court’s ruling that same-sex marriage is a Constitutional right, led to a barrage of tributes and celebrations marking the historic event. One of the best of the lot is YouTube Spotlight’s heartwarming video #ProudToLove, which gathered footage from various uploads and features several people of note, including Ellen DeGeneres, Ellen Page, Laverne Cox and more, providing a wonderful blend of love, courage and freedom. Director Scott Chan beautifully weaves together personal moments and public announcements, moving its viewers to a stream of happy tears by the end, reminding us how far things have come along. As Americans and supporters worldwide celebrate, hopefully more nations join in and follow suit.
