Terribly Tiny Talkies, in its third season, has released a short film, Agli Baar, based on the lives of those who live in the shanties of Annawadi Slum, how demolition and life threat lumber over them and those who help them, every day.
The film with its raw appeal reminds one of Dibakar Banerjee’s Love, Sex Aur Dhokha. It reels in the audience for an intense experience and plays on our fear, of the much dreaded, communal threat that pervades our lives. The film creates a thriller like situation with its method of storytelling, by using footage of video calls between people in distress.
