India celebrated its 69th year of Independence yesterday and the discussion around the country’s future and progress raged on. Meanwhile, this video made by BeingIndian goes a long way in showing us what India’s future, or at least a part of it looks like. What the children had to say was hopeful and heartening. They were asked what religion meant to them and their answers will not only get you thinking about how intelligent the future generations are, but would also remind us of the innocent and simple idea of what is really important. One child answers that if not for religion we won’t have bombs, one says that religion is man-made. While others say that it doesn’t serve any purpose.
