As the government moves to ban commercial surrogacy, questions of women’s rights versus exploitation abound.
A good decision from the government’s side. Over the years, it has become a very profitable business. More and more Westerners come here to have a child because it is far cheaper in India and also to escape strict laws of their own countries. I think it’s time now for people of developed countries to have some respect for pregnancy and not see it as a disease. And later come to a third world country, pay less and have a baby easily. If you want to have a baby, be prepared for the troubles also.
