As Chennai struggles to stay afloat following the worst ever rainfall in 100 years, rescue and relief operations are in full swing, with student volunteers, NDRF, the state police and armed forces working round the clock to ensure the safety of stranded citizens.

Witness one such rescue operation where a Cheetah helicopter piloted by Wing Commander Simon and his co-pilot Wing Commander Venkat manoeuvres over a building to rescue a pregnant lady from a rooftop. S Rajeshwari was later flown to the Rameswaram hospital in Porur where she delivered twins the very same day.

In the face of disaster when people rise above their religious, caste, and ideological differences, to come together to help each other, it shows what a unified country really looks like.
