By Lipi Mehta:
When the world will be watching ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ on December 18, touted as ‘the’ movie event of the year, most in India will have little choice but to watch ‘Dilwale’ and ‘Bajirao Mastani’, two of Bollywood’s biggest films of 2015 starring SRK + Kajol and Ranveer Singh + Priyanka Chopra + Deepika Padukone in lead roles respectively. This is because [envoke_twitter_link]the release of the latest instalment in the ‘Star Wars’ franchise has been delayed in India by a week[/envoke_twitter_link] so as to not clash with these two films, much to the dismay of many in the country. Moolah matters you know, and that’s something even the force can’t reckon with.
[envoke_twitter_link]A delay by a week in ‘movie time’ is a big deal for many fans[/envoke_twitter_link] who can’t wrap their heads around how to stay away from social media, spoilers and reviews. Twitter users for one, have not kept silent about the grief they are experiencing. And this is how their grief is bubbling over!
1. Writer Amrita Tripathi says it like it is.
Getting to this late, but *Cannot* believe we have to wait an extra week for @starwars This is becoming an issue. #theforceisnotwithus

2. This user was clearly pained and also not afraid to show her anguish to Red Chillies Entertainment!
Sadly when the world will watch one of the most awaited releases of all time, #India will watch #Dilwale and #Bajirao ? #StarWars #delayed
