Life And You

By Prakash Rajpurohit:

Who are you? What is your existence? Where have you come from? Where will you go? When will you die? What is death? Why are we mortal? Ever asked these questions to yourself? If not then do. If yes then what is the answer you got? Blank? I am too. Ever thought about the existence of the Sun? How does it exist? What is the force that binds us to the earth and is there life beyond earth or life after death? So many freaking questions. Take a break. The universe is very big and you are just like a 0.0000001 mm black dot in it. The universe doesn’t stops working if you stop. It keeps moving on and on. Isn’t it atrocious how we humans kill each other for materialistic things and some for their unnatural feelings?

Life is the beginning of ends to start again. Life is an infinite spectrum of vibrations and motivations. Life is love. Love is flow. Go with the flow. I believe in one rule and one rule only, do whatever you want in life, absolutely anything that feels right to you and evokes your on true happiness; as long as it has no negative effect on people’s soul. Try to be the best version of yourself. Help other people to try to be the best version of them. Look at the bugs doing their thing. Wrestle some dogs; Give someone a present when it’s not their birthday. Improvise a song about the person in the car next to you. Learn to laugh at your own misfortune. You should cherish every experience and observation because the whole you-being-alive-right-now thing doesn’t last for very long.

One question pops in my mind every time – what is the point of living if we are all going to die and not remember anything? It is just like if you are going to run after eating cake, what’s the point of eating it? Simple, to enjoy it. To enjoy life. But it takes us to the same question – what’s the purpose of enjoying cake? If this life is all we have, then there’s really no objective purpose in living it. Enjoying the cake is a subjective purpose. Whether I live as Mother Teresa or Hitler makes no difference, because ultimately we all die regardless, and no one is here to hold you accountable. The problem is that we don’t often practice what we preach.

What if we lived forever?

Its simple we’d simply be doing the same thing we already do for a longer period of time. Someone ha said a very wise thing “If you ever start taking things too seriously, just remember that we are talking monkeys on an organic spaceship flying through the universe.”

Is our final destination really Death? I beg to differ. I am not certain that our ultimate ‘destination ‘is death. I don’t know what will happen after death. Maybe, death is only part of our journey, I don’t know.

We know only some things, and we pretend as if we know everything. The dialogue from MIB is a case in point:

“1500 years ago, everybody knew that the Earth was the center of the Universe. 500 years ago, everybody knew that the Earth was flat. And 15 minutes ago, you knew that humans were alone on this planet. Imagine what you’ll know tomorrow.”

Life is way beyond of what we know or what we have understood. My policy: Live it fully so that you can understand your true final destination. And if there is a life beyond Death, there should be no place for me to regret.

Death is not the final destination: after all, even “Final Destination” had sequels.
