By YKA Staff:
Sonakshi Sinha’s new film “Akira” is out today and has nothing to do with Japan, it’s okay we were confused too. On the other hand, it does have Sonakshi Sinha absolutely kicking ass as a college student who takes on several corrupt police officers who are trying to frame her for a crime that she witnessed them doing. In a genre sorely lacking female action heroes, “Akira” looks like it’s here to fill that gap.

With some great girl power as well as badass action and some moustache-twirly Anurag Kashyap (who plays the villain!), we documented people’s reactions to “Akira” on Twitter:
Those next level jokes.

‘Brain wracking’ plots and Sonakshi Sinha kicking ass. Sounds good.
Loud cheers and applauds in the hall for a particular scene. Looks like people are wrecking their brains over the plot! #Akira

As far as life goals go, this is pretty good.

The name is in the game!
@sonakshisinha is doing full justice to her titular role #Akira which means graceful strength in Sanskrit.

Even the music follows the ‘beat’
Background score is loud, at times too loud but it's only adding to the weight of the story. #Akira
