Fat shaming is uncool and no one puts it better than Tanmay Bhat. As the funny man behind AIB and one of the most recognisable faces on the emerging Indian stand-up comedy scene, he’s no stranger to the horrid side of the internet. And the culture of fat-shaming in general.
In a video (part of Amazon’s #BadeDilWale campaign), Bhat breaks down the kind of stereotypical comments fat people are honestly done with hearing with his typical brand of humour. He also points that these comments actually hurt, whether it is for celebrity figures or for everyday people. So seriously guys, let’s all be better people. We can do it.
