Dhaniyajor, a village in Madhya Pradesh, lacks electricity and the basic necessities too. The darkness has indeed affected its children badly. And the ignorance has led to dropout of many students. My wholistic vision in this project is to provide light to the village and its people to develop a community and enlighten it. My concern was also not to compromise on the safe and green energy. It was then, that I started ‘going green’ through Solar Lamps, with whatever is available in this beautiful village.
This, I believe will be a step towards sustainable development of the village and its children. With these solar lamps, they can now see a new world for themselves which was one of the sole concerns of this project.
