Though this great cricketer will continue to give his services to the team as player but India will now no more lead the team.
His journey as a captain began when he took over the charge from Rahul Dravid in 2007. Throughout the 10 years of his captaincy (2007-2016 ) the Indian team reached new heights. As a captain, Dhoni holds numerous records such as most wins by an Indian captain in Tests and ODIs, and most back-to-back wins by an Indian captain in ODIs. He is definitely a great captain and an honourable human being as well.
