Say Hello To The Dynamic Duo Travelling 3,000 Kms For A Noble Cause

IIT graduate Kaustabh Khade and travel blogger Shanjali Shah are undertaking a 3,000 kms expedition across the West Coast of India, for a philanthropic cause. What are they planning? Read on to know their story!

Kaustabh is an ace kayaker and holds the record for taking the longest ever solo kayak trip, from Mumbai to Goa. Shanjali is a skilled cyclist. Together the two will cover the entire region– from Kutch to Kanyakumari covering five states and one union territory – on a kayak and a cycle.  A journey that will take them 100 days to complete. They are doing this to raise funds for Magic Bus India, an organization that works with India’s poorest communities and children using an award-winning activity-based curriculum culminating in a Livelihoods programme. Children on the programme go to school, learn essential life skills and are trained and guided to become first generation salary earners.

Here’s what the two have to say:

Come be a part of their journey!

A feat of determination and grit, the duo is setting a wonderful example for the young impressionable minds, showing them how to pursue their dreams and never give up. No easy task, the expedition requires intensive training and commitment. Passionate about the outdoors, Kaustabh and Shanjali also aim to raise awareness about physical sports as they go along.

Kaustubh and Shanjali are using BitGiving to raise funds for the cause. If you enjoy sports, or believe strongly about educating underprivileged children, then support their campaign!
