Lt Col. Upender Singh Gill (1st Rashtriya Rifles, Armoured Corps) was a part of the initial restructuring of the Rashtriya Rifles in early 90s. It was an adhoc force raised to handle the situation in the state of Jammu & Kashmir. Col. Gill (then Major US Gill, company commander at 1st RR) was one of the first victims of the remote controlled IEDs (improvised explosive devices/ land mines).

“Duty and Courage” is Col. Gill’s the story, the story of a soldier, a real-life hero who lived up to the lesson that they are taught as cadets, “Your country comes first, then your men, and your own safety, the last.” He is a man loved by his family, respected by his men and praised by his colleagues for his courage and his commitment to his duty. Watch this story of the braveheart and how, even after getting injured, he has not given up on the spirit of living life to its fullest.

“Undefeated – Soldiers of Courage” is an ambitious web-series by Paper Weight Entertainment and is inspired by the life that soldiers and their families live. It seeks to show what makes them stand out and what gives them the courage to keep living despite the harsh situations that they go through while serving the country. It is about how they (soldiers) join the armed forces at a very young age, grow and imbibe certain principles for life, something that sets them apart from the others.
