We have made feats of progress in the world of science and technological advancements through electricity.
India, though shining through her enumerable achievements, still faces a problem of electricity. Therefore, Prime Minster Narendra Modi has come up with a plan called Deen Dayal Upadhayaya Gram Jyoti Yojana.
This scheme of the Government of India will provide continuous power supply to rural India as it is the most effected by the lack of electricity. According to the PM, he wishes to see every corner of India lit up with this essential commodity.
The name of the initiative is in honour of the Indian political philosopher Deen Dayal Upadhyaya.
The government designed this project with a budget of USD 11 billion for the electrification of the rural areas. The scheme intends to replace the current Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Vidyutikaran Yojana.
With these upcoming interests by the government to enhance and assure a better life-style, the demand for such a viable commodity has increased ten fold.
As a result of this, the prices of this very essential commodity have also increased.
But latest research has made it viable to resort to alternative ways of taping this valuable resource and they found a way to tap our everlasting sun.
This new found way has made electricity a practically ultimate revival source. India has a very small market, however, for the commodities which will help us attain this goal.
