With the onset of elections season in U.P , Prime minister Modi’s presence has substantially increased in the state leaving the PMO mostly bereft of its master.
The exchange of fervent comments between the P.M and C.M of U.P is not new as the past has seen several times similar tussle of words between Modi and different Chief Ministers like Nitish Kumar , Mamta Banerjee and of course the evergreen war of words with Arvind Kejriwal.
The elections in these states and helplessness of B.J.P of not having any other leader of that strength is the probable reason of such scuffles .For every election B.J.P has one face,one star campaigner and that is Prime Minister “Modi”.
U.P politics Occupied these days in exchange of comments between Modi and Akhilesh , has also expanded its domain from “donkeys” to “rats”, from” Kabootar” to “kasaab”, by the end of third phase.No doubt if such rate of political debate will continue then by the end of 7 phases most of the animals of zoo will be the part of campaign, degrading the level of debates to its lowest level.
The question of not fielding any muslim candidate in 403 seats of U.P followed with the recent fuel in the fire of elections with P.M comparing the number of graveyards and cremation grounds in U.P will keep haunting the party for the upcoming phases.
Although he asserts of celebrating “Kesariya Holi” soon after the results of elections but with the coalition of Samajwadi party and congress and inclination of muslim votes towards BSP’s side the road of victory for B.J.P seems not to be that smooth.
