• Women safety
We live in a country where male gender has been dominant in the social-culture construct of the society since years. In India, women-related issues are very prevalent . And safety of women is a very sensitive topic which needs to be addressed very strongly. Women in India are very vulnerable, also in Delhi, The heart of India. They’re the victims of assaults, and abuse, not just physically but also mentally and emotionally. Eve-teasing , Rape cases, domestic violence and child abuses are the cause that we can hear about daily either in televisions and news papers. Although, the situation regarding women safety is improving, but it’s also getting worse in many aspects. Government is taking actions, law’s are more severe and strong but the frequency of these issues keep on increasing. The indifference of the Gender has led to girls and women feel as suppressed Gender. As far as women safety is concerned, it should be the conscious decisions step on part of both and society that everyone should feel safe. Women Empowerment should be forced, equal opportunities and rights can make then feel more independent and strong. It is estimated that 35 per cent of women worldwide have experienced either physical or sexual intimate partner violence or sexual violence by a non-partner at some point in their lives.
Individual and mutual step can make this country safe for Girls & Women.
