SBI Clerk Exam is conducted every year by the State Bank of India for the recruitment of Junior Associate and Junior Agriculture Associate positions. Last year, the central government had removed the interview from the selection process of SBI clerk. Hence, there will be no interview in 2017 SBI recruitment. If any changes are being made in the pattern of examination is subject to the release of official notification, as of now the mains exam marks is the deciding factor of merit formation.
When the mains exam gets over, within a month the SBI Clerk results will be declared. The merit will be formed by the individual scores of the candidates. After some time, the candidates will be called for the probation period. The candidates who will be called for the probation will be governed by the terms and conditions of the service regulations of the State Bank of India. The minimum period of the newly recruited Junior Associates and Junior Agriculture Associates will be about six months. The probationary has to complete the prescribed 15 e-lessons within the six months period. If the probationary fails to complete the lessons in the six months, his probation period will be extended till the completion of the same. The e-lessons that a probationary will learn will also include the role-based e-lessons. The evaluation of the performance of the probationary will be one before the probation gets ended for getting confirmed in the bank.
The starting emoluments of a Junior Associate and Junior Agriculture Associate will be around Rs. 20,950 per month in the metro cities like Mumbai inclusive of Dearness Allowance and other allowances at the current rate. A Junior Agriculture Associate will get more amount of special pay of Rs. 490 per month, which will be reckoned for DA, HRA and-and superannuation benefits. They will be eligible for reimbursement of various perquisites and other benefits as per the instructions of the bank may be issued from time to time.
After the probation gets over, the candidate will be allotted the first posting as per the location filled by the candidate during the probation period. A candidate may not get the place of his choice. The SBI clerk exam will be held in the month of June and July in 2017. Know the details of the exam before appearing in it.
