I am not a supporter of any political party and worked with the department for a longtime(left it just few months back) and during my stay I never had any hunch about this linkage between BJP and adoption related activities. Rather, Chandana was very close to the department officials and that close association was quite helpful for her. Moreover, Chandana is just one case, there are other organizations who are also following the same practices. No where it is mentioned that Chandana as well officials who are in custody were members of TMC, not because of their likings for the party but to get away with what they are doing.
