Life is full circle, the good one does unto others will be return, as will the bad nothing is forgotten or overlooked. Even when the people involved move on from incidents and sentiments, the account is still pending until the time justice is done and fairness is achieved. And it may not return in the same way, in the same form.

Does that mean one control nothing in life? No, one does. How one behaves at particular situation or circumstance is one’s baby. Besides one only knows what she/he is destined to do after one has actually done it. One must not give up. Probably the best way to discover the goodness and joy in life is to count own blessings as compared to those who suffer in diverse ways.

“Samay k pehle aur waqt se zyada Kisi ko kuch nahi milta”. It reads no one gets anything before time and more than he/she is destined to get.

CHOTI SI BAAT-1970S saw the emergence of small budget family entertainers. Amol palekar and vidya sinha are two stars of such movies. Two of their most memorable movies together are RAJNIGANDHA and CHOTI SI BAAT. Both the films had much in common and are seen as extensions of each other.

The dilemmas that shy lady undergoes vis-‘ -vis amol palekar is beautifully expressed in song. a jane is class song.

SAFAR- Film has quite a few life –reflecting songs. Songs of movie are highlight of altogether class film. Sung by different singers the songs of film have rajesh khanna in common. Kishore da has given playback for rajesh khanna in “zindagi ka safar hai y kaisa safar koi samjha nahi koi jana nahi” song is still looked upon as great reflection of a journey called life.

“Nadiya chale re dhara” it is manna dey singing for kaka.” Nadia” became just as popular. The rajesh khanna movie is full of touching and life-reflecting songs.nadiya is action, movement.

REENA ROY-late 1970s and early 1980 are the years that saw reena ray playing some nice roles. It began from APNAPAN and led to movies like AASHA and DHANWAN.apart from the storyline musical score of film is one of the stronger scores of film.reena Roy phase has some of memorable life –reflecting songs. They are often revisited. “

Aadmi musafir hai aata hai jata hai” from APNAPAN is a philosophical song. it touches the heart strings of listeners. Lyrics are beautifully plotted with lot of meaning and reflection.topld in simple words APNAPAN song turns out to be a sweet metaphor of life as journey. A bus song picturized on Marathi actors sudhir dalvi and nivedita saraf.the bus also carries jeetendra – sulakshna pandit.the song is played at quite few other time in movie as well, reena roy figures in all. It is the lyrics of song that made the song immortal . Voices of mohd rafi and lata mangeshkar added popularity to song. Music by laxmikant pyarelal is an added advantage.

ANAND-Hrishikesh mukherjee saw a Japanese movie. He was so impressed with the film that he not only made into ANAND, but also later remade his own remake with female protagonist MILI this time.annad rajesh khanna is a class hrisikesh mukherjee film. A memorable film about a soon-to-die person. Its songs are no less memorable. Just about every song of film went on to become a hit.
“ Zindagi kaisi y paheli hai kabhi to y hasaye kabhi y rulaye” is one such.paheli is class exhibition of manna dey’s voice.salil choudhry, yogesh and manna dey collaborated t o give a top number.

Annad is sitting on the beach close to his ret cent doctor friend Amitabh bachchan. Friend is close to his newly found lady love.amitabh is reticent and clumsy. He is not able to profess love for the lady. Rajesh khanna blasts doctor on his ‘buddhu ‘approach. Living the couple to their privacy starts walking away. As the song establishes, Rajesh khanna buys himself and kids bunch of ballons.he releases his balloon in air, watching them and wonders-“ek din sapno ka rahi chala jaye sapno se aage kahan…zindagi kisi y paheli hai” it is manna dey singing for rajesh khanna. Manna dey booming and bulund voice reflects strength of soon-to-die ANAND. Paheli is yogesh, salil choudhry and manna dey at their simple, symbolic and philosophical best.

GOLMAL is an hrisikesh mukherjee’s lighthearted movie. It is doubted its songs were planned to be anything more than time –pass. Gulzar RD combination turned the fate of the song and film on whole.

They combined and came up with phenomenal “aanewala pal jannewala Hai ho sake to isme zindagi bita de” a time-pass situation song. An evergreen take on life…saying each moment life worthy. It went on to become a top number.

One wonders why people take aanewala so seriously? Tuning in to gulzar lyrics easily reconciles it classic. A Super halka –fulka song deserving to take seriously. Situation of film is Amol playing double role Ram to impress bhavani Shankar and laxman to impress bindya gosawmi.song further reads “ ek baar waqt se lamha gira kahin wahan dastaan mili lamha kahin bhi nahi”. Aanewala is picturized on not so gambhir laxman ‘aanewala’ is surprise on his part. A class exhibition of poetry, even a layman who donot understand half of words realize that they are listening to some class poetry. There is little doubt it is the lyric of song that has made ‘aanewala pal’ a frequently revisited song .RD Kishore kumar and gulzar have collaborated to come up with timeless poetry, and not for the first time either.

MUMBAI- Bombay aka Mumbai is not all showbiz. A large no people from chote-chote Sharon se come to mahanagar to realize their dreams. There is tussle-puzzle for space. Those who do not find live SLUMS.mumbai’s DHARAVI is one of the largest slum. Azharuddin ismail and rabbinate SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE fame are slumdwellers. SALAM BOMBAY and SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE are two films in category.

The slum people do not have many things that others living OUTSIDE often take for granted. Those who live in slums donot have attached a bathroom that is for sure.
For instances Husband and wife donot find any kind of privacy. If they feel the intimacy they realize that there are many other pairs of eyes in the same room, pretending to be asleep. The couples too, after a stage stop giving a damn about what the others sleeping in the same room would see.

Most bollywood films steer clear of showing such realities and concentrate on ‘churning out’ movies with make believe storylines. SLUMDOG, SALAM BOMBAY and TRAFFIC SIGNAL are few exceptions.

Movie PIYA KA GHAR is also one such rare instance. Film showed how many people are actually living in same room. The room includes Anil dhawan and Jaya bhaduri, a newly married couple. Room has other eyes prying on them.

A Kishore kumar song running in background along with situations beautifully symbolizes life is like that.
