Khushiyaan By Aarna Foundation

In the world where we think humanity is diminishing, this NGO is setting an example to prove us wrong. Aarna Foundation based in Thane, Mumbai, basically nurtures underprivileged kids as well as people who are in the old age homes. They support women empowerment and are extremely against killing a girl child. Recently, they hosted an Annual Event for all the underprivileged kids wherein those little lovelies had a blast. Lets get some insights about this noble cause: 

Aarna Foundation in association with ABC Pre- Primary school celebrated its Annual event named Khushiyaan on 24th feb,2017 at Gadkari Rangayatan,Thane west. MLA Shri Pratak Sarnaik and Celebrities like Actor Harpreet Singh from Tarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chashma and Amardeep kaur Syan – Miss Thane 2016 were invited as Chief Guest. The annual event had special dance performances by kids of the age group of 2 years to 15 years. The annual event inaugurated  by Ganesh Vandana and concluded with our National Anthem Jana Gana Mana with a special message of ‘do not kill girl child’ and ‘women empowerment.’ Special attraction in this annual event was 300+ seats of Balcony were booked for underprivileged kids. Students of Balcum , Patlipada, Ovla gaon, and Waghbil municipality school no.66 were invited for free of cost to attend and participate in the show. These students were in their respective school uniform representing their schools. These special students not only enjoyed the show but were also gifted with school stationery at the end of the show. Founder – Mrs. Shweta Saroj and Co-Founder – Mr. Chinu Kwatra heartily thank all the members, volunteers and people on social media who has helped make this event a grand one and believed in Aarna foundation to spread happiness, smile and love.

They also announced their several projects like adoption of municipality schools (taking care of educational needs of students), women empowerment, setting various study centers across India, etc.

This definitely proves that there still are some people existing who love helping others without any selfish motive. We are indeed proud of you, Aarna Foundation. Keep up the good work.
