Pragatishala – A Step Towards Digital Financial Literacy

Pragatishala is an Axis Bank initiative wherein we the students of SIMSR college (Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research) accomplished the vision of educating a village regarding digital finance.

Demonetisation led to a hue and cry in the country, especially the rural villagers who became the scape goat.
So, we decided to empower them with digital financial literacy and tried to bring a small change in the society through this. The village that we chose was ‘Takarda’ in the interiors of Thane, and through this video we would like to show you our journey…
