Shadeism Of A National Daily

Malayala maorama is a leading news paper in Kerala, it acclaim that they are the most popular daily in India. ‘Vanitha’ is their women Magazine also published in Malayalam language but today social media discuss their Shadeism against malayalam actors. Vanitha conduct  a film award last month called Vanitha Film Award 2017. Vinayakan a promising Mollywood actor who got ‘a special Jury award’ in this function he was awarded for his debut acting in the movie ‘Kammattipadam’.

The problem is March first issue of Vanitha Magazine is a special edition for the award function and included the award winners  interviews and photos. The cover page of this magazine shows their Shadeism because Vinayakan and Vishnu Unnikrishnan  they have  black color in nature but in this cover photo Vanitha  use Photoshop to become them white.  Today in social media discuss  the racism of a National Daily because of this picture.
