Nationalist socialist council of Nagalim,(NSCN);(K).is a Naga Nationalist Insurgent Group operating in Northeast of Indian,their main objective is to establish a sovereign christian state named Nagalim.

NSCN has been declared terrorist Organization in india under unlawful activities (prevention) Act 1967;

Originally (NSCN) abbreviation for the National council of Nagalim was formed on 31 January 1980 by isak chishi swu,who hailed from sumi (sema) tribe, a Naga community in zunheboto district of Nagaland .Due to misunderstanding developed during Shillong  Accord of 1975 ,NSCN got divided into two fractions NSCN(IM) led by isak chishi swu and Thuingaleng muivah and NSC(K) led by SS Khaplang.

S.S khaplang is the Chairman of NSCN(K) fraction he is a hemi Naga from Myanmar and is based in Myanmar,he has build Operational Bases Across the border in the territory of myanmar from here he conducts his cross border terrorist activities.

In times recent Indian Government has made historic announcements,On “Naga Accord” stating; it will bring the needed stability and Peace in the region where as peace seems a farfetched dream.

The Accord Government of india is  boasting their moral with, was signed on August 2015 between government of India and (NSCN) leaders Isak chishi swu and Th Muivah, R.N ravi signed it on behalf of Indian Administration .according to  sources quote Indian Government and NSCN (IM) leaders had around 80 rounds of “peace negotiating discussions” before this deal was signed,NSCN (K) was simultaneously not invited for any of this talks.

NSCN(K) is accounted for killing for killing of 62 civilians and 25 security personals during the period of 1992 to 2000, but suffered heavily in that period loosing 245 of its men’s.recent surgical strike in Myanmar was the latest blow to the insurgent outfit.In 2015 NSCN(K) has already abrogated ceasefire Agreement.in ref:to the truce deal Khaplang signed with government of india on 27 April 2001.

Abrogation was followed by by six attacks on Indian Armed forces in Nagaland,Manipur and Arunachal Pradesh,Including that one that took life of 18 soldiers in chandel district of manipur.

Its absolutely unclear that how the ‘New Naga Accord” is going to establish Peace and stability in the region,As militant organizations there already have multiple sub branches ,Negligence and and poor Administrative order have already plunged the civil society of Northeast India into a state of self conflict and socio-political disorder,In a situation where multiple outfits prevail in the geopolitics of northeast india, it it would be interesting to see how many accords will it take for a peace.
