When the Tamil Nadu’s ruling party AIADMK fighting for the chairs and posts in the name of Amma, Tamil Nadu farmers themselves are getting naked, drinking urine, pouring the blood as a way of protest in the roads of power- centric New Delhi.

Today the Tamil Nadu government claimed that drought is not the reason for farmers’ suicide in the state. Those who have died, took the extreme step due to family situations, ageing, heart attack, prolonged illness, it said in the detailed reply to Supreme Court over the issue on farmers’ suicide.

When Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswamy visits protesting farmers at Jantar Mantar, he says it is because of the failure of monsoon. Tamil Nadu faces the worst-ever drought in 140 years. A month-long farmers’ protest in National Capital came to an end after Tamil Nadu CM gave the assurance to take up the farmers’ demands to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Previously in January, Former Tamil Nadu CM O. Panner Selvam   declared that all parts of the state as drought-hit regions.

Not only the land, the governance of the state too hit by the power drought.

The power playing and drought hit the state governance totally once when J.Jayalalitha was admitted in the night of September 22 at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai.

The swap game began from Jayalalitha to OPS, OPS to Sasikala& Co, OPS burst out in open, OPS announced as traitor, Sasikala & Co backed MLAs enjoying their stay in Koovathur, Sasikala planning to become CM, Sasikala convicted in Jaya disproportionate assets case, Sasikala to TTV and EPS, OPS raising doubt on Jayalalitha’s death, RK Nagar Election, TTV announced as candidate, Two leaves symbol freezes, RK Nagar by-election cancelled over use of money power, two groups of AIADMK announced for talk, conflicts in ruling faction and in Sasikala& Co, ruling faction asks Sasikala & Co steps aside from party and government, TTV arrested on two leaves bribery case, Sasikala and TTV behind bars. Raids at the spot of sand mining baron Sekar Reddy (a close aide to OPS), Tamil Nadu Chief Secretary Rama Mohana Rao, Tamil Nadu Health Minister Vijaya Bhaskar shows the power behind the throne is BJP which doesn’t hold a single seat in Tamil Nadu Assembly but using the power of Central Government in the name of Law. It takes the governance to the state of misery. The play to grab the throne take the Tamil Nadu governance to the state of miserable mystery.

The drought- hit politics of TN government refuse to acknowledge the facts that how drastic the life of Tamil Nadu’s Farmers is affected with failure of monsoon, Cauvery water, sand mining, scarce water resources and by so-called development projects.

‘Total 470 people died, unable to bear the death of Puratchi Thalavi Amma’. This was the twitter statement given by the ruling party AIADMK on December 11, 2016 following the death of Former CM and AIADMK Eternal General Secretary J.Jayalalitha. The People who claimed that the natural death of some as the deaths of their loyalty to the above-said leader are now saying farmers died in drought-hit state because of personal reasons and prolonged illness.
