Yesterday, A Final year student of bsc. Agriculture ,Khalsa college Amritsar commits suicide by hanging due to superficial Mangemental rules of college.
Student had his attendance short by few lectures because of illness. And also because he was dedicately preparing for his msc. Entrance exam.. But his teachers didn’t let him attend the exam. When he approached principal for justice, irony was that principal detained him despite his beggings.
I m myself a student of khalda college and as a matter of fact i know that rules are important to safeguard discipline of any institution but my dear people, we need to know the difference between disobedience and genuine helplessnesd..we need to realize what is more important for us, safeguarding superficial shine if an instituition or quality education.
This incident once again force us to ponder whether we are going in a right direction with current education system of our country . P.S. To my dear fellas,who is truly yours will always stand by your side no matter what the situation .So please don’t give up on your precious lives. Your parents didn’t spend time money and love on you so that you could leave them alone when u think is low point of your life because beleive me when i say, you not leave the world alone , you drag them along with you in a pit of darkness which creates a permanent hollowness in their hearts.
