Zubeen Garg threatened to be shot dead


Assam singer Zubeen Garg threatened to be shot dead by a person named Kai Khaplang alias Tultul Baglary, as mentioned in facebook. The person plans to shot popular assamese singer Zubin Garg within a range of 10 meters. The singer ruling over two decades of Assamese singing sensation, who is scheduled to perform at Dibrugarh for a Bihu function tonight.

The programme is to celebrate the Assamese new year Bihu is held in Chowkidingee Field at Dibrugarh district. The Facebook profile of the person describes the person as a martial art practitioner.

The person wrote in a comment in Facebook “I will shoot Zubeen with 9mm bullet from 10 m distance”. The person as identified from his Facebook profile, is a student of Don Bosco High School, Dibrugarh. Such offensive remark has sparked dissatisfaction over the town as well as ZG Fans all over the state.

High security has been put on place in the function premises. However, the function authorities has denied such threats and told a local news portal www.newsnextone.com that such threats ridiculous. Although the authority dismisses such threats, security has been tightened up on the venue.

It is to be noted here that a few days ago, Zubeen was ‘dictated’ not to sing Hindi numbers and was stopped midway while singing the bollywood hit ‘Dil tu hi bata’ from Krish-3. However angry Zubeen cussed the mic and told the audience that he loves them, not the organizers and left the stage. This has led to a great tussle between the Zubin lovers and heated the media with several columns and debates.
