NAVI MUMBAI : The student of class XII committed suicide after getting failed in 2 subjects on his board exams yesterday.
Accident took place in Sanpada, resided in Sector 14 , Navi Mumbai, where the student of Ryan International School (C.B.S.E.), committed suicide. 17 year old Prithvi Vahval was the son of doctor.
The incident came to light after his family members returned and found the teenager hanging, he added.
A case has been registered at Sanpada police station and investigation is on, the official said.
Sub-inspector Surwade said, “We have registered an accidental death report. The victim left behind a handwritten note, in which he said ‘Sorry mother for disappointing you’. On the wall, he had written ‘I Quit’ using a black marker.”
