Know the difference between India’s most important MBA entrance exam, CMAT Exam, and CAT Exam. One of the major differences between these two exams is that CAT Exam doesn’t have General Knowledge section whereas the CMAT Exam has general knowledge section. General Knowledge is basically given to test the knowledge of the student related to current affairs. Both entrance exams have a separate exam conducting body. CAT exam was first conducted in 1950 whereas CMAT has been first started in Feb 2012. CAT Exam is relativley tough as compared to CMAT Exam. The marking scheme of both exams is same, +4 score for every correct answer and (-1) marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. Another difference between two is that CAT Exam is been conducted one time only whereas CMAT Exam is conducted twice a year.
