Today I had my dinner at a 4 star restaurant nearby my home. Two of my colleagues were with with and we had delicious meal.

Continental, Jain and Indian Veg food was served in the restaurant.

The quality of the food was at peak. It’s famous for that.

One of my colleague had pasta in his dish and when he observed that it’s not hot , he placed it there only and refused to take more. Obviously he didn’t like it. Then suddenly a question triggered in my mind. This was not for the ist time but whenever I go to big hotels, restaurants and in marriage and other functions. I always think about the food waste. We are living in country which is a home to 1.25 billion people where every 3rd child is suffered from Mal nutrition.

Because they don’t get the proper food just because of people like us who spent money in the five star restaurants and waste food after tasting it. We don’t know about our appetite and place more quantity in our plates. When stomach is full then we forced  ourselves to throw our plates in the garbage.

People must think about those poor people and their children who don’t have healthy food before they proceed towards the Food counters in restaurants.
