1.Butter— Butter is the richest and the most healthiest source of fats that can be given to kids who are lean. Adding butter to the kid’s daily diet is one of the best ways to increase the body weight. Its dense calories provide a large amount of nutrients that in turn result in gaining weight.

2.Milk And Cream— Dairy sources like milk and cream are also good sources of high calories that aid in weight gain among kids. Make sure your kid drinks at least 2 glasses of milk every day. Also, make it a point to add cream to the cereals that you feed the children with.

3.Eggs— Eggs are an excellent source of protein. Introducing eggs to a kid’s daily diet not only aids in the growth and development of the child but also contributes in weight gain. Eggs are also a good source of vitamin A and vitamin B12.

4.Bananas— Bananas provide an instant source of energy and are packed with calories. They provide the essential carbohydrates that help children to put on some healthy fat, which in turn results in weight gain.

5.Chicken— Chicken is also a good source of protein. It helps in building muscles and is a great food option to be included for underweight toddlers and kids to increase on their body weight.
