as an Indian or a Bangladeshi.Three years ago;dhe went into labour and there was no midwife to help her.A doctor from neighbouring village had come to help her.”We all are one flesh,it is not  like we are Indians or Bangladeshis;we are just…..just Bengalis”says Ayesha Bibi.It has been almost 7 decades since Jardian village was partitioned into India and Bangladesh(erstwhile West Pakistan) but there has been no relenting.”It is all peaceful,we do not require forces, they are our brothers and sisters”, says Badar Shah, the village headman. This is the magnanimous  tale of two villages in two different lands but yet without any borders-a flourishing tale indeed!!!
