Regarding the year back system VTU, Karnataka.
We want year back to be removed for the academic year 2017 for all schemes & especially CBCS scheme 15 series.
Because we r the first batch in cbcs scheme , syllabus is changed, question pattern is changed, we face a lot of difficulty.
Moreover this sem vtu delayed its results (dec-jan 2016-2017) announcement for almost six months, ie results were declared only one month before the next vtu exams & revaluation results were declared just 5 hrs before exams. And the results also has disputes .
And one of the major problem “WITHHELD previous sem results”. A student dosent know whether he have write the exam or not, passed the exam or not, shall have to fill exam fees for that subject or not. This creates a lot of stress & pressure in students mind.
We r not supercomputers. We need time to study & to take decisions.
How could u expect a student to study within 5 hrs before exams , as the revaluation results were declared 5 hrs before exams.
So the fact is that u have to study for exams even without know that , u have passed or failed in that exam. And when you see u have passed that exam, studying for that subject was a successful attempt wasting time. Time neither stops neither come back for someone.
The delay in declaration of jan-dec 2016-2017 results as well as declaration of revaluation results 5hrs before exams didn’t only created a lot of stress and pressure but also will effect the next vtu exams.
So we want the year back system for academic year 2017 for all schemes to be cancelled.
We cant waste one year, one year means a lot to an individuals life.
