BJP announces support to Nitish Kumar to form Bihar government

 

 

Nitish Kumar the chief of Janata Dal(United) resigned from his post of Bihar’s Cheif Minister on Wednesday. “The governor has expected my resignation and asked me to continue working till the next development “,Nitish Kumar said after he met Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi at the Raj Bhavan. Reports  said Kumar cited a crisis in the rulling Congress-RJD-JD(U) alliance but RJD’s Lalu Prasad Yadav denied reports that Nitish Kumar sought the resignation of Lalu’s son and Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav. Meanwhile the saffron party has offered support to the JDU after Kumar’s resignation. The decision to offer support to the BJP was taken at a meeting of the state leaders. BJP leader Sushil Modi said” Nityanand Raj ji  and I called Nitish Kumar ji. The BJP has decided to support him”.

 Kumar said it was getting difficult for him to work in this environment,despite consistent request,the RJD leader did not gave a precised explanation of corruption charges to the people, When asked about the chances of his forming a government with BJP’s support said “Whatever will be in the intrest of Bihar will be done. However Yadav called such an act a staged drama and accused him of being inclined towards BJP and RSS, as well   as pointed out that Kumar faces allegations of murder.
