The thought that gopal krishna gandhi is not eligible for contesting vice president election is really not justified. The reason they are saying is just that he wrote a letter to president for yakoob menon (a terrorist) appealing not to hang him. It should be not tolerated by the country which is called democratic and where right to act and speak has been given to every citizen. It is really shameful if the country which is consider as non violence follower . It is clearly mentioned in the letter that gopal krishna gandhi has a perspective that gandhi ji always follow non violence that ‘s why he has written this letter.
