"Haryanvi Humour is Very Weird," Says Vijender Singh

“I’m a desi Haryanvi,” says boxing champion Vijender Singh when asked about his mother tongue. He loves his bhasha and thanks the language and the country for making him what he is today.

But what is unique about his bol? The boxer admits that Haryanvi humour is pretty weird. “The way a Haryanvi thinks, talks is very different from others. And you will never know how a Haryanvi will answer your question.”

(We all love to express ourselves, but how often do we do it in our mother tongue? Here’s your chance! This Independence Day, khul ke bol with BOL – Love your Bhasha.
